Upgraded my computer set up and thought I would share how I made a triple monitor stand / wall mount for cheap. I made this out of some wood, strong fence hinges, and some A-frame. Total cost: $60
My take on creating a triple / multi monitor stand on the cheap. I made this out of some wood, strong fence hinges, and some A frame. Total cost: $60
I also painted and gave my workstation a bit of a makeover. Check out the process photos below!

Before the upgrade
Set up before removing stock stands
Stands removed
Taking shape!
View of the A-frame from the backside. I did not own a drill at the time, so the wood wasn’t pr-drilled and split
Laid monitors down to bolt onto wood
Wingin’ some measurements
Wood and hinges taking shape
Decided to just re-paint my entire room while we’re at it. Red is ugly
View of the “bracket” I made for the wall. Simply bolted this onto 2 studs
Centered
Backlighting installed…cables still not hidden
Backlighting off
Bye bye cables!
LED backlighting (later switched those bars up with straight RGB LED ribbon)
Added LEDs to the desk drawer; these light up only when the drawer is open
Switches for backlighting
Switch to turn the drawer light on / off when it’s opened
