About Me

I’m Colton Onushko, a 35 year old maker & tech enthusiast from BC, Canada. In my spare time I love to tinker on whatever project is currently at my desk.

Starting in photography as a hobby, I found a love for coming up with DIY lighting solutions.
This eventually led into an obsession with custom home lighting and controls.

After quickly becoming consumed with automating and controlling everything I could with Home Assistant, it escalated into self hosting an ever-growing stack of services on my UnRAID server.

When I’m not fixing another broken docker update, I’m usually working in CAD, designing custom 3D printed solutions for life’s niche inconveniences.
